Miss Howland is our reception class teacher.

Planned activities for 2008/09 include: -

• An autumn walk through the village of Borstal and a visit to Borstal Marina and a tour of a houseboat.
• A visit to the Natural History Museum in London.
• A visit to Godstone Farm.
• A henna workshop to celebrate diwali.
• A visit from The Working Space Theatre Group with a performance of 'The Snow Queen'.

Activities for 2007/08 included:-

• A visit to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.
• A visit to Joss Bay.
• Field visits around Borstal.

Homework

We would like every child in our reception class to spend ten minutes each evening reading with their parents.  There will also be extra occasional topic related work to complete on Fridays.
